West Salem High School Neshonoc Yearbook

In Basic News Writing and Advanced News Writing, we capture memories! While there are many projects that we take on throughout the year, the three main components of the class are making the yearbook, creating the senior publication, and learning basic journalism skills. Students gain an understanding of how to navigate a variety of programs such as Yearbook Avenue, Adobe InDesign, and FantaMorph. Along the way, communication skills, public speaking, and meeting deadlines are only a few of the many life skills that a student will practice. Lastly, there’s a role for everyone on our team. Whether you’re interested in writing news stories, taking photos, or running the social media account, there’s a place for you on the West Salem Media Team!
