My name is Mark Byom, I am very excited and proud to be a part of the West Salem School District Science Department! I grew up in Holmen Wisconsin and after graduating high school attended UW-La Crosse. At UWL I earned degrees in Education and Broadfield Science. I later received a Master's degree from UWL. I spent 14 years at a nearby school as a science teacher and coach. At WSHS I teach Chemistry and Physical Science. I live in West Salem with my wife and three children.
