Why did you become a teacher? I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a teacher because I have always enjoyed helping others learn new things. I had many influential teachers growing up who made school a fun and enjoyable place for me. I strive to provide the same for my students.
What do you love most about the West Salem School District? I love the small, hometown feeling that WSSD has. It is wonderful to live and work in a close-knit community where people truly care about one another. I was lucky enough to find my first teaching job in WSSD right out of college, and I hope to retire from here someday!
