I currently teach third grade at West Salem Elementary School. My first eight years of service to this district were as a special educator, and I have been a member of the fifth and third grade teams since then. I received a bachelor’s degree from Winona State University in regular and special education with certifications in general education, grades 1-6 and learning disabilities, K-12. I earned a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in special education with an emphasis in emotional disturbances. My husband and I have one son. I enjoy reading, camping, and attending my son’s extra curricular activities.
